Heinemann, Yitzhak

Heinemann, Yitzhak
(1876-1957)
   Israeli humanist and philosopher. He was born in Frankfurt am Main. From 1919 to 1938 he lectured in Jewish philosophy and literature at the Jewish Theological Seminary in Breslau. In 1939 he settled in Jerusalem. His writings deal with Hellenistic and medieval Jewish philosophy.
